Alice’s fiction projects include everything from traditional narratives to site-specific projects and writing installations.

Past site-specific projects, such as her Miniature Library of Lost and Found where she hid handmade miniature books she had started writing around cities to be found, completed and returned by the public, story treasure trails and following pieces, ephemeral graffiti and others can be seen at

An example of her writing installations is Secret City – a collaborative project as part of the Bristol City Council Creative Spaces scheme, where she took over an abandoned listed Edwardian ladies’ cloakroom and transformed it from an empty space at the beginning of the week to an evolving, collaborative, creative narrative archive by the end of the week. Members of the public were invited from day one to watch the creative narrative process and to contribute work and ideas. Details of this and other collaborative projects can be seen at

Past fiction commissions also include the framing narrative for The Chancery of Lost and Found for the Bath Literature Festival 2015 where Alice was writer in residence, and a short story for a story trails as part of The Story Republic project for KEAP in Cornwall.

Alice is currently working on a new adult novel and the rewrites of two novels for young people.
